The State of Hawaii requires a total of 570 hours of education to qualify to sit for the State Board Exams. Upon completion of the Level 1, 150 hour class, an additional 420 hours will be completed in the Level 2 (Apprentice Massage) education program.
I am proud to offer you the opportunity to receive a superior education in the world of massage, anatomy, and professionalism.
In less then 1 year, you can pocess a State of Hawaii massage therapist license. With this license in hand, you will have the potential and professional skills to be earning as much as $100 per hour or more. 9. My anatomy education has been achieved at the University level, pre-med classes (Whittier College, University of Oregon, Long Beach State University). I have virtually been inside of close to 20 human cadavers, dissecting and studying tissues under the microscope. This education has given me the understanding of how tissues respond to hands on therapy. This, of course, is dependant on the quality of the “hands on techniques”. Quality and efficient hands on techniques must comply with the tissues structure. Wiping the skin” massage techniques might feel OK , however you are just wiping skin. The therapeutic efficiency to the underlying tissues could be insignificant.
